a little about me,
Hello, My name is Esther van Dijk. I am a goldsmith and Jewellery maker living and working in the Dutch capital city of Amsterdam. In 1995 I completed my education to become a goldsmith at the vakschool here in Amsterdam. During my education I began my internship at Eenvoud on the Prinsengracht. My internship ended but I worked at Eenvoud for another 9 years. Following that and a little time making new work and completing repairs for several shops I decided in 2005 to open my own shop. I am happy to say that 16 years later, I am still in that shop with a growing list of clients and friends, why not come in and say hello!?
& what I do.
The thing I love most about working for myself is that I get to choose what I do in the style I like to do it, I believe this freedom is reflected in my collection. The jewellery I make is mostly 14k gold and semi precious stones and diamonds. I source the stones and a lot of my inspiration from my travels abroad. I also have a collection of mens leather and silver or gold-plated bracelets. If you have a design that you would like made please call, mail or come by the store and I’ll do my best to help. The gallery gives a good idea of my style but I am sure the best experience is to come and see the collection for yourself.
